In Fall 2013, I applied for, was accepted to, and decided to participate in a teaching program with Fundación Patagonia Sur. During 2014, I am living and working in the town of Futaleufú, Los Lagos Region, in Chilean Patagonia. Working with children ages 4 to 18 and with adults, teaching English and environmental science is something of a dream come true. Here I am detailing some of the experiences of my time in Chile.
